Goals:
1. Increase vocabulary: Animals, birds, fruits, vegetables, objects (Any five). Identifying names of family members.
2. Social Skills: Improve sharing toys or objects with peers or adults.
3. Cognitive skills: Shapes (Circle, square, triangle) Numbers (Identify and count 1 to 5) Problem solving (Puzzles)
4. Fine Motor Skills: Enhance drawing. Make simple drawings with lines, circles using crayons or markers. Wearing and changing clothes – Buttoning and unbuttoning.
5. Gross Motor skills: Balance on one foot, developing catch and through activity in a group.
6. Grooming Activity: Hand wash, hair oil, combing hair, applying body lotions.
7. Speech: Two words letter. MAMA, PAPA, CHALO, KHANA, PANI
Home Based Programme
8. Proprioceptive activities: Crash pad: Use a thick, foam crash pad or a large, soft pillow. Playdough: Use non-toxic, gluten-free playdough with adult supervision.
9. Sensory bins: Fill containers with rice, beans, sand, or water and hide small toys.
10. Swinging: Use a swing set or a hammock for vestibular input.
11. Dance parties: Encourage movement and self-expression through music.
12. Climbing walls: Use climbing walls with soft landing surfaces, harnesses, and spotters.
13. Cooking or baking: Engage in cooking or baking activities to practice following recipes and social interaction.
14. Group outings: Organize group outings to practice social skills in community settings.
15. Storytelling: Use pictures or objects to tell stories and practice social communication.
Be patient: Progress can be slow and unpredictable. Celebrate small victories and don’t get discouraged by setbacks.
